Yesterday we were finally able to meet the twins!
We'll post more information about the babies and the delivery later, but for now we are pleased to be able to post these first few pictures of the newest members of our family. And as the drugs they have given Laura have not yet worn off, we have not yet reached an agreement on their names. So for now, we will use the scientific notation: 2.5.4 and 2.5.5

Yes, I have chubby hands. But the point of these pictures is to illustrate how tiny 2.5.5 is. She weighed in at a whopping 2 lbs 15 oz. That is my wedding ring in the second picture and it would fit around her bicep!

The rest of these pictures are of 2.5.4, who has been able to spend most of the time so far in the room with us. Sydney brought the older kids (2.5.1, 2.5.2, & 2.5.3) up to the hospital for their first chance to meet the twins.

Hurray! Hurray! The girls are both so very precious! You know what they say, "good things come in small packages"--and y'all now have 2 small packages! (Even extra small!) Of course, Laura is petite herself! And we are so thankful she's doing well, too! May God continue to bless you--what a wonderful family!
Love, Mom/KK
And we love the names--Nora Jane & Cosette! So much better than most of those contenders in the name books.
Crazy how small she is. They both look good though. I hope you all have a quick and easy recovery.
Yay! we are happy the girls are in your arms. What a happy family you all make!
I am so glad that Cosette was finally chosen as a name!! What sweet little girls, we are so glad that they are both doing well and here.
We love the scientific notation for all the children, good to see you are keeping up on family labeling system.
Eeee soo cute! So tiny! I have wanted to call every day but I just think you should be sleeping and resting.
